Landing AI and AI Fund are building companies that will use AI to transform every type of industry, and improve human life. This is your chance to join an exciting, early stage startup , and work to consolidate the Latin American office.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the accounting and finance functions for Landing AI and The AI Fund.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Manage the daily operations of accounting and finance activities.
- Review monthly and quarterly financial reporting, coordinate with U.S. office during their review of Colombia books and consolidation of financial statements.
- Assist with budget and forecast analysis and expense allocation analysis, and monitor and analyze accounting data.
- Maintain financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Assist with annual audit and tax return process.
- Support in the daily operations of the Colombia office and some administrative tasks including: Selecting and managing company vendors, keeping inventory, ordering, and restocking office supplies, snacks, and hardware. You will also help on other ad-hoc administrative tasks such as travel arrangements or company events.

Here are the skills you should have:
- Familiar with US GAAP
- Consolidation, revenue recognition, budget and cash forecast, taxation knowledge
- English Fluency (B2 Level at least)
- Bachelor's’ degree in Accounting, Business Administration, International Business or Finances.

Preferred skills:
- Familiar with Quickbooks
- Excel or G-Sheet knowledge

deeplearning.ai is looking for a Content Engineer to maintain and update our courses. This will include updating our courses’ programming tools and frameworks, including Tensorflow, Python, numpy and Jupyter notebooks. This will also include testing and updating all auto-grading tools to ensure our learners have a smooth learning experience.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Upgrade existing Tensorflow assignments
  • Update the deeplearning.ai auto grader
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across deeplearning.ai and key partners.

You will build an AI-powered software system to deliver valuable services to a diverse set of users.

We’re looking for candidates with strong computer science fundamentals with a passion for improving people’s health and wellness. The ideal candidate will thrive in an early stage startup, resonate with our vision that AI will transform the way we live, and commit to building a bright future together.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for building and delivering high quality AI-powered solutions to our users in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll work with a team of talented domain experts and engineers to develop a novel product powered by AI.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Build and deliver high quality full stack, AI-powered application. You’ll work collaboratively to build both frontend (mobile and web) and backend applications, improve productivity in our development cycle, and develop internal tools for analytics and A/B testing. You will learn and apply full stack software development skills, including frontend / UI, backend business logic and data management, machine learning model training, and cloud deployment. You will be immersed in a highly dynamic and agile development environment.

TalkTime is building an AI powered customer contact software that drives efficiency of contact operations, delighting customers and boosting margin by giving high-quality responses faster. 

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Medellin office. In this role, you will be one of the founding employees of a new start up: Talk Time. You will drive the development of AI products and participate firsthand in the development of a top-notch AI startup. You will directly shape the direction of the company and help iterate on the offering to achieve product market fit.  This role reports directly to AI Fund leadership.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Lead the ideation, prototyping, and development of TalkTime’s AI software,
  • Develop and deploy high-quality proof of concept projects with a variety of first customer partners
  • Rapid development of high performance ML models for deployment to production.
  • Drive continual performance improvements and iterate on the product offering.
  • Develop innovative NLP approaches for novel applications where good solutions do not currently exist and work creatively to come up with the optimal systems to solve customer’s most burning needs.

The Senior Recruiter at AI Fund Colombia will own and execute hiring the first team members of every startup which is part of the aifund.ai and portfolio of investments. As a Colombia and LATAM recruiting expert, you’ll be a critical part of finding and hiring A+ engineers, business team members, and more. In return you’ll work with top global team members to expand your hiring skills and learn firsthand how a top-notch AI startup scales.

Here’s what the role entails:

  • Bring a sophisticated understanding of the Colombia/LATAM region to AI Fund´s hiring. In your first month on the job you’ll work to evolve our location-aware approach to recruiting, ensuring our outbound messages maintain 70%+ open rates and 50%+ reply rates. You’ll fully uncover and use the right tactics to reach the best candidates in Latin America. In the first 3 months, your outreach campaigns and changes to current interview processes should deliver a 7% increase in interviews conversion and run tests in other key LATAM regions to gauge talent quality and interest to relocate to Colombia.
  • Identify and engage top candidates. Because we are scaling fast, you’ll need to source at least 30 A+ candidates a week and research jobs which you may not have worked on before. You’ll create reusable sourcing approaches relying on Linkedin, boolean, and direct social media outreach. Further you may need to coach each hiring manager and localize the job description so terms are relevant in LATAM. 
  • Work with hiring managers and decision makers to balance hiring priorities and timelines. We have a growing number of different teams within our organization requesting help with hiring in Colombia. You’ll need to set clear deliverables and keep each talent funnel and subsequent interviews flowing smoothly. You find comfort filling positions on fast timelines but know when and how to set realistic time-to-fill expectations with the team based on informed data. Whenever possible you’ll negotiate time with hiring teams to review applicants and interviewing responsibilities so you can maintain a delightful and an un-bottlenecked hiring ecosystem.
  • Own the candidate experience from end to end and keep the interviews moving. We strongly believe in treating candidates like they’re already members of our team during interviews. From the moment you send a thoughtful outreach to the day you make them an offer and bring them onboard we expect the experience to be thoughtful, exciting, and as personable as scalability will allow. You’ll value our time and the candidates time wisely by making sure the hiring plan for is complete and set up before every interview. Additionally during your phone screens with candidates you’ll vet them to align their career goals with our team/hiring goals. All through the interview process you’ll move quickly to keep candidates engaged and interviews on ~ 2 week interview timeframes. You’re the candidates and the teams lifeline to each other from beginning to end, you’ll advocate for what’s best for the company and the candidate simultaneously.
  • Build unique talent funnels that scale over time. Over the course of 6 months you’ll proceed to develop and run a recurring plan across job/people specific groups and networks as well as leveraging our teams vast network to discover special connections, for example: university professors, community programs, etc.
  • Collaborate with the global team on recruitment and branding alignment. As each of the companies within the AI Fund brand, scale over the next 12 months you’ll work directly with the Director of Talent and Director of Communications to ensure that all Colombia based hiring and recruiter branded sites so they’re enticing to A+ applicants and suited to the local talent markets we hire in.

Our team is growing fast, and we are looking for strong engineers to develop a new educational and recruiting products around Artificial Intelligence. In this role, you will work alongside other engineers as well as our outside partners, to build various layers of the infrastructure for our products. 

Here’s what you will do:

  • Design and build overall architecture for highly scalable and responsive applications. 
  • Design and develop internal tools to help our content and product teams iterate quickly.
  • Build strong data-pipelines for exploration and analysis.
